Make sure you keep records of everything you fill out for other companies. Also, it is important to document any changes you made to your products, production method, or materials in order to comply with RoHS – this also helps show due diligence. Keep track of costs associated with compliance as well. However, it should be noted, to further insure product integrity that a signifying mark(ing) could be added to the components, as well as a symbol stamped on packaging to eliminate storage confusion.
